ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Tiffany Harvey. I was born and raised in South Plainfield, New Jersey, which is where my passion for writing began. On May 11, 2019, I graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications: Public Relations and Advertising. Throughout my years in college, I have gained hands-on experience in social media, writing, and graphic design. On campus, I worked at the WDSU-TV and WDSU Radio station “The Hive”. While working with the Public Relations team at WDSU-TV, my job was to develop ways to promote the show “Around Campus” and book guest speakers through multiple social media platforms. I was also responsible for managing the Around Campus Instagram page, where I created flyers and posted live video recordings of the day of the shoot. At WDSU Radio, I assisted the public relations manager in contributing to new marketing techniques that would promote on-air shows and events as needed. Working at the television and radio station was the beginning of my journey to new opportunities that would lead me to graduate in May of 2019.

Aside from my work at college, I became apart of an internship for the newly launched online store, Uncoverd. As a content writer, I was responsible for writing articles, blog posts, and commercial scripts. One of my biggest accomplishments was writing and co-producing the “Uncoverd Brand Story” video. It was an unforgettable experience because it was my first time traveling to New York alone, working with a creative director, and producing something of my own.  What I love most about writing is being able to create a story by incorporating my imagination and inner thoughts. During my free time, I write short stories, poetry, and many screenplays. My love for writing was once a daily hobby, which will soon turn into my dream job of becoming a copywriter.
